Instead of going door-to-door in the fashion of tokhang, the best way for the police to address the threats and assuage the fear enveloping the media community from the continuing attacks against those in the profession is to bring the perpetrators to justice. In the last 3 decdes, close to 200 journalists have been killed in the Philippines making it one of the world's dangerous places for journalists, yet justice remains elusive for many of these cases with the assailants roaming scot-free.
