Abril 29, 2014 - Naglunsad ng press conference ang grupong Sanlakas at Bukluran ng Manggagawang Pilipino (BMP) kanina sa Chicken Bacolod restaurant sa Quezon Memorial Circle upang ipahayag ang kanilang paninindigan hinggil sa pagbisita ni Pangulong Barack Obama ng Estados Unidos.

Sanlakas held a protest rally in front of the US Embassy in Manila on Friday, April 5, 2014. Members of the Bukluran ng Manggagawang Pilipino (BMP), Kongreso ng Pagkakaisa ng mga Maralita ng Lungsod (KPML), Partido Lakas ng Masa (PLM), Zone One Tondo Organization (ZOTO), and Piglas-Kabataan (PK) also joined the protest. SANLAKAS rally at Mendiola for Yolanda-affected communities

April 11, 2014 - SANLAKAS joins FDC, PMCJ, Bulig Visayas, FCAID, KPML, PM, and other groups in a rally at Mendiola this morning. In a statement, the groups said "No to government's rejection and abandonment of Yolanda (RAY)-Affected Communities", which refers to the government's Rehabilitation Assistance on Yolanda (RAY). They said on the PNoy government's RAY: "Much of the investment will be ushered in by the corporate sector with the Government sidestepping in favor of big businesses". The groups also call to "Pursue a people-centered and a rights-based rehabilitation plan now!" (Newsbit and pictures by Greg Bituin Jr.)
